The Vox Femina association, which promotes a balanced and non-stereotypical representation of women in the media, is launching the “Femmes en Vue” (Women in View) competition. This aims to identify more women experts and promote their profile.

CNP Assurances is partnering the project, as its Managing Director Frédéric Lavenir explains: "The Femmes en Vue competition is an excellent initiative to highlight women as experts, an approach fully supported by CNP Assurances. Our governance demonstrates this, with several women at the head of business line departments represented on the Executive Committee, for instance, and through their strategic role on the Board of Directors, which has two female committee presidents (audit and risk and compensation and appointments). Our commitment has also been rewarded with second place in the 2014 ranking of women on management boards of SBF 120 companies, published by the French Ministry of Social Affairs, Health and Women’s Rights.”.

Promote your expertise in the form of a selfie
Applicants are using "video selfies" to present their skills and reasons why the media should interview them.
A panel of journalists will shortlist the six best applicants, who will receive media training and take away a video to use as an audio-visual signature. The deadline for applications is 15 December 2014.
