CNP Assurances is committed to responsible digital practices by integrating environmental, social and ethical issues into its use and development of digital technology.

Our approach is based on a dedicated governance system structured around working groups at the Group’s entities in France and abroad. It is part of a continuous improvement process, our goal being to obtain “Numérique Responsable” (NR1) responsible digital certification and align its indicators with the trajectories of Caisse des Dépôts and the La Poste Group.

We use digital footprint measurement tools covering IT infrastructures, applications and the collaborative use of digital technology. These tools make it possible to objectify impacts and guide continuous improvement actions.

Eco-design for all digital services

Our digital services are created according to eco‑design principles, which incorporate best practices to strike a balance between performance, energy efficiency and accessibility. This approach is based on specific guidelines common to all digital projects.

We also integrate responsible digital issues into purchasing, through:

  • specific requirements in calls for tenders,
  • dedicated supplier charters,
  • and concrete initiatives on equipment and recycling.

We support our employees in embracing these challenges through awareness and training activities, including digital responsibility workshops, initiatives to reduce usage, and recycling efforts. These efforts serve to propagate a responsible digital culture throughout the Group.

In addition, since 2023 we have formalised a policy on artificial intelligence ethics. This document ensures the responsible, transparent, and controlled use of digital technology consistent with our commitments on data protection, inclusion, and respect for fundamental rights.
