CNP Assurances is reducing the environmental footprint of its operations by leveraging frugality, energy efficiency and resource optimisation.
In terms of buildings, we favour high-performance sites and limit occupied space. Our head office in Issy-les‑Moulineaux brings together all the teams in the Île-de-Franceregion in a building with HQE Exceptionnel, BREEAM Outstanding and BEPOS certification, serving to significantly reduce energy consumption. The optimisation of spaces through a flex office approach reduces energy needs, both in France and at the main international sites.
This drive is accompanied by concrete energy efficiency initiatives:
- the deployment of renewable energies with the installation of photovoltaic panels at sites in France and Brazil,
- the use of low-carbon heat networks,
- and the ongoing improvement of IT equipment and infrastructure.
In Brazil, the offices of CNP Seguros Holding Brasil are equipped with solar power plants. Initiatives to optimise digital infrastructures have significantly reduced the associated emissions.
Reduce emissions from operations by 50% by 2030
In terms of mobility, our Group is reducing employee travel, using teleworking and remote collaboration tools, and implementing lower-emission transport solutions.
This approach is reflected in concrete initiatives, including:
- the development of electric or hybrid vehicle fleets,
- the installation of charging infrastructure,
- and incentives to use public transport.
These initiatives have resulted in a decrease in air travel and a shift to train travel.
They are contributing to reaching the target of a 50% reduction in emissions from operations by 2030, as enshrined in the Group’s climate transition plan.
Through these efforts, CNP Assurances is making energy efficiency and savings a structuring principle of its day-to-day operations, striking a balance between operational performance and environmental responsibility.
