Christophe Harrigan is a graduate of IAE Rennes, holds a Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Financial Studies (DESCF), and completed a management training course at HEC. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2000 as an auditor.

In 2006, he joined Groupama in an audit role before becoming Chief Financial Officer of Groupama’s Greek subsidiary in 2007. After several years based in Athens, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Groupama Paris - Val de Loire, a regional bank, which at the time generated some €600 million in revenue in 15 French departments.

Christophe Harrigan joined La Mutuelle Générale in 2013 as Chief Financial Officer and was appointed Chief Executive Officer four years later. From 2017, Christophe Harrigan rolled out an ambitious plan to transform France’s third-largest mutual insurance company.

Following a strategic partnership with the CNP Assurances Group, he became Chief Executive Officer of CNP Assurances Protection Sociale, a new player formed by the combined expertise of La Mutuelle Générale and CNP Assurances in the healthcare and personal risk market, which currently protects 1.4 million people.

In March 2026, he was appointed Director of the Social Protection Division and a member of the Executive Committee of the CNP Assurances Group.

Christophe Harrigan is also a director of Medef Paris and a member of various think tanks.
