Meeting on 18 June, the Board of Directors of Fondation CNP Assurances selected three new partners as part of its 2026 call for projects, “Taking action for young people’s health”. In keeping with its public interest mission, Fondation CNP Assurances is pursuing its commitment to the physical and mental healthcare of young people, with a particular focus on the most vulnerable populations.
With indicators on the physical and mental healthcare of young people deteriorating, Fondation CNP Assurances is supporting innovative initiatives with a strong social impact. These initiatives must be implemented by public or private structures of general interest eligible for patronage.
These three new projects are fully consistent with Fondation CNP Assurances’ strategic priorities, with a particular focus on the healthcare of young people entrusted to the child welfare system, young people affected by cancer, and the prevention of digital risks and harassment.
- Association IM’PACTES, association, which created the Asterya centres, the first health centres in France entirely dedicated to child victims of violence and individuals entrusted to the child welfare system (Aide Sociale à l’Enfance). At these centres, children benefit from a systematic somatic and psychological health check-up and comprehensive, coordinated care. Fondation CNP Assurances will contribute to the fitting-out of the second Asterya centre in Bordeaux. The project aims to support 7,000 beneficiaries over two years.
“The support of Fondation CNP Assurances is a huge boost for child victims of violence and individuals entrusted to the child welfare system in Nouvelle Aquitaine.” Thanks to this commitment, the second Asterya centre, located in Bordeaux, will be able to open in late 2026/early 2027. The new centre will provide these children with quality care at a venue designed and planned throughout at child height to ensure a caring, reassuring and supportive environment. This, along with the expertise of the caregiving teams, will help them to recover from the impacts of their trauma,” said Professor Céline Greco, Head of Pain and Palliative Medicine at Necker Hospital for Sick Children and Chair of the IM’PACTES association. - Aïda and its Highway to Health programme: the first national 700-hour post-cancer support programme designed for adolescents and young adults at the national level and meeting the specific needs of the 15-30 age group. Built on peer support, the project encompasses physical and mental healthcare, social and professional integration, and the rebuilding of life plans.
“I met so many people this weekend. We shared our experiences of the illness, the diagnosis and the recovery stage,” said one Highway to Health beneficiary. “It did us a lot of good to realise that we have all experienced more or less the same thing. It helps us to get back up on our feet and feel proud about what we’ve been through.” - The e-Enfance / 3018 : Fondation CNP Assurances supports prevention and awareness-raising initiatives on digital risks and healthy screen use among young people, their families and professionals, at local level. The aim of these efforts is to collectively promote a balance between online and offline life.
“The support of Fondation CNP Assurances is an invaluable resource for strengthening our presence with young people, families and the educational world throughout the country. It will enable us to develop prevention actions that fully respond to the needs of the public, the aim being to guide each individual towards a safer and more balanced use of digital technology,” said Samuel Comblez, Deputy Managing Director of e-Enfance / 3018.
Each project will receive annual financial support of between €100,000 and €120,000, with the possibility of support over two years.
The Board of Directors of Fondation CNP Assurances also decided to provide €200,000 in funding to:
- Pépinière d’Avenirs, an organisation authorised to launch national calls for expressions of interest (appels à manifestation d’intérêt) aimed at supporting innovative and reproducible solutions adapted to the health needs of young people entrusted to the child welfare system. The terms and conditions of the call will be made public shortly.
“Health support is a decisive issue for all those entrusted to the child welfare system. The life expectancy of child victims of violence receiving no care may be reduced by up to 20 years. For Pépinière d’Avenirs, rallying to innovate for their benefit was a given. We are delighted to be able to count on the commitment of Fondation CNP Assurances to together make this project a reality on the ground, with the support of our scientific committee,” said Mélanie Pauvres, Chair of Pépinière d’Avenirs.
Highly positive assessment of the five partnerships initiated since 2025
Since the launch of its first call for projects, “For the health of young people”, Fondation CNP Assurances has supported five committed partners rolling out nationwide impact initiatives. The Board highlighted the already significant impact of these initiatives.
1. Ecolhuma – Well-being at school and psychosocial skills
The Ecolhuma partnership with the “Bien-être à l’école” (“Well-being at school”) project, to develop psychosocial skills starting from nursery school, is gaining remarkable momentum.
- 8,500 primary school teachers have already been trained in managing emotions.
- 298 teachers at vocational high schools have been supported.
- A new version of the ÊtrePROF platform, integrating AI, will be rolled out gradually ahead of its across-the-board launch in 2026. The new platform provides more personalised support for teachers.
- An Ecolhuma 2026 survey on healthcare at school and psychosocial skills confirms the urgent need to take action to prevent the emotional exhaustion of teachers and address the mounting stress of students.
The Foundation is supporting a structuring change of scale, with a target of 20,000 teachers trained and 300,000 students impacted by 2028.
2. Les Funambules Falret – Preventing the impact of mental disorders on young family members
The partnership with Fondation Falret and the Les Funambules Falret project is moving ahead with its ambitious spin-off efforts to support young people with a parent, brother or sister suffering from a mental health disorder.
- 228 young people have been supported since January 2025, as well as 82 adults with an educational function.
- 841 interviews have been conducted face-to-face or remotely, and 10 discussion groups facilitated.
- An initial franchise was opened in Lyon in 2025, attracting strong interest from local players and having already gained visibility at the regional level.
- 31,000 users of the JEFpsy platform and a growing digital community (3,600 subscribers).
- A structured spin-off strategy: 40 structures identified, a complete installation kit, a pre-commitment for a branch in Rennes, and prospects of an opening in the Loiret department.
The initial impact measurements show that the initiative has had a significant impact, particularly on forging a better understanding of the family member’s illness, improving the emotional state, recognising experience, and reinforcing coping skills. The Foundation supports this innovative approach, which combines individual support, prevention, digital tools and regional roll-out.
3. Learning Planet Institute – LISA project for student well-being and health
The partnership formed concerning the LISA project (Learning and Inclusion for Student Awareness) was stepped up substantially in 2025-2026 for the first year of widespread deployment:
- 32 institutions involved;
- 327 teachers trained;
- 2,019 students supported;
- 42 advisers and 26 trainers trained;
A fast-growing community of teachers and education and healthcare professionals, enlivened notably through a series of monthly webinars on the mental health of young people in apprenticeships.
Major progress:
- Implemented at the Bordeaux, Rennes and Strasbourg academies and Mission Laïque Française;
- Implementation of a robust assessment protocol (pre-/post-questionnaires, anonymised data, focus groups, interviews);
- 842 observation grids already completed;
- A new, more complete and user-friendly version of the platform tested since October 2025.
The Foundation is supporting the potential roll-out of the LISA project in 200 schools for the benefit of nearly 70,000 students.
4. Nightline France – Preventive and mental healthcare for young people
Nightline France’s project consists in implementing the “Fresque de la Santé Mentale®” and initiatives on campuses and at other venues where young people socialise, with a view to raising their awareness, providing them with the necessary tools, and engaging them in mental health issues.
- Nearly 30,000 young people were involved through 868 local initiatives and 338 Fresque de la Santé Mentale® events in 2025–2026.
- Nearly 3,000 young people took part in the Fresque de la Santé Mentale® with extremely positive results:
- Nearly 75% believe they are more able to take care of their mental health and are considering changing their behaviour to improve the mental health of others.
- More than 9 in 10 young people say they are better able to distinguish between well-being, ill-being and mental disorders, and have a firmer grasp of the concept of “resilience” and its impact on mental health.
- Co-creation of a new version of the Fresque, adapted to extremely vulnerable young people, currently in the pre-testing phase.
5. Sourire à la Vie (SALV) – Le Château Sourire- In 2026, the Foundation is renewing its support for this innovative and inclusive approach for the benefit of the most vulnerable young people.
Opened in 2025 with the support of Fondation CNP Assurances, Château Sourire in Marseille, the first non-hospital paediatric oncology centre in France, continues to develop:
- Nearly 200 young beneficiaries have already been welcomed since September 2025.
- Authorisation to practise in Medical and Rehabilitation Care (SMR) was obtained in 2026.
- 84 days of group activity, 47 individual stays, 6 therapeutic holidays in the four months of activity in 2026.
- A unique model in France, combining care, sport, rehabilitation, respite and life projects.
Fondation CNP Assurances supports this major transformation, which will make it possible to welcome even more children from all over France.
Agathe Sanson, Group Head of Stakeholder Dialogue, Communication and Sponsorship at CNP Assurances, Vice-Chair of Fondation CNP Assurances:
“We are proud to support innovative projects that meet the real health needs of young people, especially the most vulnerable among them. I am pleased with the momentum initiated with the first five partners we have supported since 2025, whose action on the ground shows the importance of structuring and lasting support. The Board of Directors of Fondation CNP Assurances also recently approved three new projects that further strengthen our commitment to innovative players in healthcare for young people.
With the physical and mental health of young people having become a major concern for our society, Fondation CNP Assurances is reaffirming its determination to address the most acute needs, and in particular with regard to the health of young people entrusted to the child welfare system or affected by cancer.”
