Effective from 1 September 2024, Anani Olympio has been appointed Head of the Actuarial and AI Ethics Function at CNP Assurances. He is responsible for the financial solidity of multi-standard commitments and AI ethics. In particular, he supports the implementation of non-financial performance measurement and supervises the Group’s AI Standards, Actuarial and Ethics team. 
Reporting to Thomas Béhar, Deputy CEO and Chief Financial and Non-Financial Officer, Anani Olympio replaces Sébastien Gilles, who has been named Chief Accounting Officer.

 

Anani Olympio holds a PhD in Management, Actuarial and Risk Management Sciences. He is a graduate of the Institute of Financial Science and Insurance and a certified ERM CERA expert member of the Institute of Actuaries. He obtained a Master’s in Project and Business Management from the International Institute of Management of the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers. 
Anani began his career in 1999 as an actuarial research manager at a consulting firm. Between 2001 and 2009, he worked as a financial engineer and actuary at a number of bancassurance and personal-protection groups. He joined CNP Assurances in 2009 as Head of the Actuarial Studies Department, before being appointed Head of the Group R&D and Data’Lab Department. He went on to become Head of the Group Methods and Innovation Department, an entity combining R&D and Data’Lab, reinsurance, actuarial methods and standards. In 2019, he was named Head of the Research and Strategic Foresight Department.
