Sarah Bouquerel, who is currently the Chief Officer of La Banque Postale’s insurance division with responsibility for the Assets and Personal activities and Chief Executive Office of La Banque Postale Assurances IARD, is joining CNP Assurances’ executive committee on 2 March.
 
She will be heading a new division handling activities and strategic relations with the La Banque Postale Group.

Therefore, she will be managing La Banque Postale business unit therefore and assuming responsibility the services and assistance activities including among other things the Lyfe, Age d’Or and Filassistance subsidiaries. She will also become the Chairman of Open CNP.

From 3 February 2020, La Banque Postale business unit’s current Chief Officer Martine Vareilles, will assume responsibility for the Social Protection business unit and the Amétis network, in addition to supervising the MFPrévoyance subsidiary.

 

Biography of Sarah Bouquerel

A graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique, of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and an actuary, Sarah Bouquerel began her career in 2002 as insurance supervisor and commissioner with the prudential supervision authority (today the French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority).
 
In 2007, she joined the AXA Group’s Financial Department, assuming responsibility for Corporate Finance for the Asia / United States zone in 2009. She was appointed as Management Control Director for Life Insurance, Personal Insurance and Banking for AXA France in 2012. In 2015, she was appointed as Deputy CEO of Natio Assurance (a general insurance joint venture between AXA and BNP Paribas Cardif), a post she combined from 2016 onwards with that of Sales and Customer Relations Director for AXA Direct France.
 
From September 2018, Sarah Bouquerel was Chief Officer for La Banque Postale’s insurance division with responsibility for non-life insurance, CEO of La Banque Postale Assurances IARD and a member of La Banque Postale’s General Management Committee.
