CNP Assurances, a responsible investor represented by Icade Asset Management, has announced the off-plan acquisition of the Green Office® Quartz real estate development, a "positive-energy" building developed by Bouygues Immobilier in the 15th arrondissement of Paris.

CNP Assurances is a signatory to the energy efficiency charter for service-industry buildings. The company has committed to cutting 20% from the energy consumption of its real estate portfolio by 2020. The new investment is in line with that goal, as it meets the highest environmental standards.

The building was designed by Christian de Portzamparc and will have a useful floor area of about 7,510 sq. m – mainly office space – with 180 parking spaces.  This positive-energy project, based on bioclimatic design and the use of biomass and photovoltaic panels to generate renewable energy, aims to achieve BREEAM® 2013 "Excellent" and HQE® 2015 "Exceptional" certification, as well as the Bepos Effinergie label. The building will become the headquarters of Colas upon delivery, scheduled for mid-2018.
