Paris, the 16th November 2016,

The award ceremony at the 12th Trophées APAJH (Association pour adultes et jeunes handicapés, or the Association for adults and young people with disabilities), which rewards initiatives that promote access to social, cultural and professional life for people with disabilities, was held on 14 November at the Carrousel du Louvre.

This heart-warming evening was filled with concerts and awards presented in five categories: Universal accessibility, Citizenship and public service, Schooling and Culture, Socially Responsible Companies and Sport. The event was attended by performers and political figures such as Ségolène Neuville, Minister of State for Disabled People and the Fight against Exclusion.

This year, CNP was once again a partner for this event. Virginie Oget, head of relations, communication and social responsibility at CNP, presented one of the evening's awards: the prize for Citizenship and Public Service, which was awarded to the Council of the Nord department in France for the "Nature and Disabilities" environmental education programme.

Among the winners was Marie-Amélie Le Fur, triple medallist at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, who received the Honorary Award, presented by Ségolène Neuville and Jean-Louis Garcia, chairman of the APAJH.
By supporting the Trophées APAJH for the twelfth year in a row, CNP Assurances confirmed its commitment to social inclusion, the fight against discrimination and the continued employment of people with disabilities.
