At the eighth awards ceremony, held on 25 October 2021, Elisabeth Moreno, French Minister for Gender Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities, recognised the long-term commitment shown by CNP Assurances to gender diversity. CNP Assurances took 11th place in the 2020 ranking of female representation on governing bodies of SBF 120 companies, drawn up by the firm ConvictionsRH.

As a responsible insurer whose purpose is particularly to promote an inclusive and sustainable society, CNP Assurances has gender parity on its governance bodies.

Its board of directors is chaired by a woman, Véronique Weill. The proportion of women on its board of directors stands at 50% (seven out of 14), a 6% increase compared with the previous year. Stéphane Pallez is Chairwoman of the Audit and Risks Committee and Rose-Marie Van Lerberghe chairs the Remuneration and Appointments Committee.

The four women (out of a total of 11 members) on the Executive Committee (corresponding to 36% female representation) all hold strategic roles for the Group, and two of them lead business units.

CNP Assurances is also recognised for the fact that 39% of its Top 100 senior executives are women.

In 2020, for the third consecutive year, the Group also obtained a score of 99/100 for equal pay for men and women, confirming the company’s maturity in this area.

We are proud to be one of the top 15 SBF 120 companies and the top insurer in this ranking. This award recognises our commitment and all the actions put in place at every stage of CNP Assurances’ human resources management. We intend to go further in the coming years by setting ourselves even more ambitious targets in order to strengthen the diversity of our management bodies and gender diversity within the company generally” said Bérengère Grandjean, Human Resources Director of CNP Assurances.
