An alumnus of the École Polytechnique (Applied Mathematics – Economics) and ENSAE, with a specialism in actuarial science, Jean-Baptiste Nessi began his career at Mazars before joining CNP Assurances in 2012. He held a number of roles within the Group’s technical department, and was appointed Group Technical Director and Head of Actuarial Services at the end of 2017.
At the end of 2020, he continued his international career as CFO of CNP UniCredit Vita in Milan. From December 2021, he combined this position with that of Deputy CEO of CNP Assicura. He was appointed CEO of CNP Unicredit Vita in April 2023.
Upon his return to France in July 2025, he becomes Deputy Director of the Wealth Management Europe BU.
In March 2026, he was appointed Head of Strategy, Solutions and Steering within the Individual Savings and Pension Europe department of CNP Assurances and Chairman of the Board of Directors of CNP Luxembourg.
