Anani Olympio is Head of Research and Strategic Foresight at CNP Assurances.

A graduate in actuarial and financial sciences from the Université Claude Bernard in Lyon, – école ISFA, a member of the Institut des Actuaires, he is the holder of a Master in Business from the Conservatoire des arts et métiers. He holds a CERA certificate (Certified Enterprise Risk Analyst) and a doctorate in management sciences with actuarial speciality from the Université Claude Bernard in Lyon.

He began his career, in 1999, as an Actuarial study manager at the consultancy firm in Lyon, before becoming, in 2001, a junior Financial Portfolio Engineer in a major insurance group in Paris.

In 2002, he joined the Malakoff-Médéric group, within its subsidiary GIE AUXIA Gestion, where he successively held the posts of actuary, Head of actuarial studies and practices, then Deputy Technical Director.

In 2009, he joined CNP Assurances as Head of the actuarial studies and research department. In 2011, he became Head of the R&D department and, in 2014, Head of the CNP Assurances group’s Data Lab R&D department. He founded Diwise, by CNP Assurances, in 2018. He also contributes to the launch of the DIALog (Digital Insurance And Long-Term Risk) Chair of Excellence focusing on artificial intelligence applied to the insurance sector. Until 2019, he was manager of the Methods and Innovation department.

He is a research fellow at the Sciences Actuarielle et Financière (Actuarial and Financial Science) laboratory and a lecturer and researcher in various universities both in France and abroad, he is a reviewer for the European Actuarial Journal, he holds various responsibilities in bodies of the Institut des Actuaires, the French Actuarial Institute. Finally, he is a member of the executive board of Smartificial Research and Technology, a start-up specialising in artificial intelligence.
