Biography of Thomas Chardonnel, Director of the BPCE partnership business unit and CNP Assurances’ European credit insurance and retirement businesses
Thomas Chardonnel is Director of the BPCE partnership business unit and has taken on responsibility for the European credit insurance and retirement businesses, including supervision of the subsidiaries CNP Santander, CNP Partners, and CNP Caution.
He is a member of the CNP Assurances executive committee and has been Chairman of the CNP Santander board of directors since March 2019.
Having graduated from ESC Paris Business School in 1994, he started his career as Head of Management Auditing and Reinsurance at GAN’s Hungarian subsidiary.
Then he held sales development positions for Central European and Middle Eastern emerging markets at SCOR Vie, before joining General Electric Insurance (Genworth) in Madrid, where he was Sales Director, responsible for the development of credit insurance for the Spanish market.
In 2005, he joined CNP Assurances, where he has held several positions within the Bank Clients Division (credit insurance).
In July 2013, he became Director of the Caisse d’Epargne Partnership Centre and Interim Director of the Wealth Management Networks Partnership Centre.
Biography of Olivier Guigné, Chief Investment Officer and Director of Wealth Management business activity of CNP Assurances
Olivier Guigné is Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at CNP Assurances since 2018, also responsible for the wealth management business activity since February 2020.
He is a member of the CNP Assurances executive committee.
A graduate of Supélec Engineering School, he held various positions within the financial and risk divisions of investment banks and within the Caisse des Dépôts group.
He joined CNP Assurances in 2009 as Head of ALM and Asset Allocation.
In 2013, he became Head of Investment Strategy and Listed Investments Management Department at CNP Assurances.
