CNP Assurances is supporting the Red Cross in its humanitarian aid to the civilian population and refugees in the context of the conflict in Ukraine with €100,000.

The war in Ukraine is causing a humanitarian emergency to which the Red Cross is trying to respond as closely as possible to the inhabitants and in neighbouring countries.

To deal with this situation, CNP Assurances has committed to supporting the French Red Cross with €100,000 to enable the deployment of the Ukrainian Red Cross, the International Committee of the Red Cross and all neighbouring Red Crosses to help all those affected by the conflict inside and outside Ukraine.

The Red Cross is engaged in three key areas in this conflict:

o    Supporting the actions of the Red Cross, which is intervening in the conflict zones to provide assistance to the Ukrainian civilian population (shelter, emergency distributions, etc.);
o    Supporting the Red Cross National Societies of neighbouring countries, particularly in the border areas where the reception of people displaced by the crisis is organised (shelter, distribution of basic necessities, psychological support, etc.);
o    Developing specific actions in France or from France in line with changing needs (reception of refugees, activities to re-establish family links, sending emergency response team members, etc.).
