Launched on 13 May, these two wealth management products managed by CNP Assurances are distributed by La Banque Postale.

Cachemire Patrimoine requires a minimum investment of €150,000 and is aimed more particularly at La Banque Postale's high net worth clients. It forms part of CNP Assurances' strategy of developing a high-end savings and investment offering.

There are some fifty underlying funds to choose from, including real estate funds.

Three management options are available enabling investors to adjust their contract to changes or developments in their plans, needs and risk tolerance: fixed-income fund, discretionary management (from €75,000, with 4 investment styles to choose from) or self-management.

The contract also provides automatic switch options: regular investment, capital gains protection and automatic reinvestment of capital gains into the fixed-income fund.

Cachemire 2, like Cachemire, is a life insurance investment contract designed to adjust to the investor's personal plans, investment objectives and risk profile. The minimum investment is €25,000 thus allowing a broader clientele to benefit from products and options previously restricted to wealthier clients.

Cachemire 2 offers three management options: time horizon investment, discretionary mandate (from €10,000) and self-management. All three may be used within the same contract.

At end August, more than 30,000 contracts had been taken out for a total of €1.5 billion.
