For example: We offer digital direct marketing solutions to our distributor partners. Thanks to Anticipa, officials from four ministries can now suscribe online to the flexible supplementary personal risk solution.
The agility of the Open CNP program
With the CNP Open programme, CNP Assurances invests €100 million over five years in start-up partners who challenge the insurance business. We systematically combine investment and operational partnership: start-up founders bring us their vision and their agile methods and we help them to accelerate their development.
Nowadays, twelve start-ups joined the CNP OPEN programme.
For example: Alan offers a 100% online supplementary healthcare policy to start-ups and freelancers, with a simplified customer experience. A partner from the outset, CNP Assurances co-developed a group personal risk plan distributed by the start-up.
Who is better placed than customers to think about solutions that suit them?
CNP Assurances has created YOU & US, an online community dedicated to 18-35 year olds. Its role is to better understand their habits and expectations. Expanded since then to other generations, today it has 300 members and is a place for communicating and co-creating used daily, which includes:
- discussion forums on various topics (digital habits, lifestyles, IoT, chatbots, protection, etc.),
- thematic workshops, connecting customers and employees,
- online surveys to identify trends.
New expertise, new methods
In 2018, CNP Assurances organised an intrapreneurship and participatory innovation challenge: Open Innovation, which involved nearly 1,000 employees. Five projects were incubated in the CNP Assurances accelerator with ad-hoc support. Once industrialised, they will help to improve customer satisfaction. In view of the positive feedback from this initiative, which has received the Argus of insurance’s Gold Trophy for Managerial Innovation, the experiment will be renewed and extended to our European subsidiaries.

CNP Assurances uses the hackathon principle to come up with the most relevant solutions for partners and customers.
CNP Assurances employees, student developers and UX designers have come together for the first time to design an application that makes life easier for customers. At the start of 2018, a second hackathon invited the 60 top managers to think about the Group of tomorrow. Lastly, this creative process has also enabled us to innovate in our managerial methods.
The Group Data'Lab
The team of specialised actuaries trained in data science, launches experiments in the use of data based on the principle of Proofs of Concepts (PoC). It is a vehicle for circulating the Big data/Data science approach within the Group. It recently developed Missing Person Recovery (MPR) algorithms, which improve the detection of unpaid policies serving beneficiaries.
