A qualified actuary who attended the Institute of Actuaries and with a degree from the Finance and Insurance Institute (ISFA), she started her career in 1996, at the French Government Mutual Insurer (MFP). In 2000, she joined the SCOR reinsurance group, initially as Head of the Mutuals Market; then, in 2007, the scope of her responsibility was expanded to all social economy players.
She joined CNP Assurances in January 2016 and became, in April 2018, Director of the CNP Assurances Social Economy Department, within the CNP Assurances Social Protection and Services business unit.
Laure Châtel is head of Advanced Age and Autonomy of CNP Assurances.
