Laurent Jumelle, a member of the CNP Assurances Executive Committee, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Latin America Business Unit and Caixa Seguradora, the Brazilian subsidiary of CNP Assurances. He replaces Thierry Claudon, who, for personal reasons, stepped down from his role, a position he held since 2001. Laurent Jumelle was previously in charge of wealth management at CNP Assurances.
Tanguy Carré joined CNP Assurances and is now Chief Executive Officer of CNP Unicredit Vita, the Italian subsidiary of CNP Assurances, as of 19 June. He replaces Bruno Faure, who has retired.
Laurent Jumelle, 39, is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique (1998-2001), Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (2001-2002), and Collège des Ingénieurs (2002-2003). He began his career in 2003 at AGF Collectives as a manager in the personal risk/healthcare department before becoming the technical director for personal risk/healthcare in March 2006. In October 2008, he joined Allianz France as director of retirement planning and in February 2011 became director of life insurance partnerships. At the same time, he served as a director of Allianz Global Investors France (2009-2012), Chairman and CEO of Arcalis (2011-2013), and CEO of Génération Vie (2011-2013). He became responsible for wealth management at CNP Assurances Group in April 2014 and joined the Executive Committee in May 2017, as well as being Chairman of the Board of Directors of CNP Luxembourg.
Tanguy Carré, 59, is a graduate of Institut Technique de Banque and has a master’s degree in Private Law. He began his career in 1981 at the Reims regional office of Crédit Agricole. He joined Sorefi Champagne Ardenne as a marketing director in 1985. He joined Cybernis in 1990 as a consultant for the Caisses d’Epargne and Crédit Agricole networks. In 1994, he joined Caisse d’Epargne, where he was successively Sales and Marketing Director, member of the Management Board responsible for business development, Personal Services Director and Insurance and Services Director. At the same time, he held various positions with Fongépar and Fédération des entreprises de services à la personne (FESP), for example. In 2009, he joined La Banque Postale as Markets & Client Strategy Director, then became Chief Executive Officer of La Banque Postale Prévoyance in 2012 as well as Director of Development (Property and Casualty, Personal Risk/Healthcare) until June 2017, when he joined CNP Assurances.
