of products and services, in both individual and group insurance, that are
closely tailored to market needs. In a constantly changing environment, the
Company has become skilled at anticipating social trends in the areas of
healthcare, long-term care, private pensions and personal services. Through CNP
Services à la
Personne banner and its two personal services subsidiaries,
Filassistance International and Age d'Or Services, CNP offers a full range of
personal support and assistance
services. The activities and products
it has developed to maintain contacts with the outside world, to fight against
precariousness and increase the safety of the ederly, are part of its policy of
sustainable development and social responsability.
CNP's distribution strategy is based on
partnerships with major institutions in France. The alliances it has forged,
often underpinned by capital ties, are designed to combine CNP's expertise as an
insurer with the distribution capabilities of its partners. In individual
insurance CNP distributes its products through the Post Office and the Savings
Bank networks, which together represent more than 20 000 outlets. Since 2004,
CNP has its own financial advisor network : CNP Trésor. In collective
insurance, CNP is a partner to more than 250 financial institutions of all
sizes. Il also brings its expertise to large mutual insurance companies,
17 000 local government offices and some 1000 companies.
In
international markets, CNP is pursuing a targeted growth strategy that
focuses on exporting our leading edge competence through partnerships and
acquisitions. The company currently has operations in Italy, Portugal, Spain, Argentina, Brazil and China. It
contributes to its international partners, its experience in bancassurance and
personal insurance, its business model based on distribution partnerships, its
asset/liability management skills and its expertise in managing policyholder

Since 1988,
CNP has been implementing a sponsorship and philanthropy policy that reflects
its corporate identity and values, by supporting initiatives to improve access
to healthcare and raise the sensitivity of palliative care
programmes. The CNP Health Foundation (Fondation CNP pour la
Santé), which operates under the aegis of Fondation de France, supports general
interest projects dealing with methods of disease prevention and patient care,
as well as medical research. The current focus is on pain relief.
