On September 29, 2017, CNP Assurances announced the execution of a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding with Caixa Seguridade, establishing the conditions for a new exclusive distribution arrangement in Brazil. The execution of a definitive agreement was expected to occur before January 1st, 2018.
As of today, the discussions between the two partners are still ongoing, and CNP Assurances expects that, subject to the outcome of such discussions, the new definitive agreement could be signed early 2018. The current agreements remain in force.
